The systematic and objective assessment of an ongoing or completed project, program, or policy, including its design, implementation, and results. The aim is to determine the relevance and fulfillment of objectives, development efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. It is usually done independently so that it can provide information that is credible and useful, enabling the incorporation of lessons learned into the decision-making process.
We support our clients to achieve a clear strategy as regards information needs, tools and methodologies for data collection, compilation, and reporting; together with a comprehensive M&E plan with clear roles and responsibilities as regards data gathering and reporting needs. The plan has to include a flow chart and description showing how the monitoring data will flow from the place where it is collected up to the management team and then to other stakeholders, including the donor; as well as an M&E calendar giving a schedule of all major M&E activities.
The success of any project relies on effective human resource skills, supervisory skills, performance management, and leadership to ensure teams meet their objectives. We therefore offer technical support to our clients’ learning activities by way of conferences, workshops, and seminars. We have an established management and leadership curriculum to develop these skills preparing employees/consultants to manage complex projects, tasks, and teams in the workplace.
